This Privacy Policy explains the practices of NewCastle Home Loans, LLC on how we collect, use, disclose and secure your personal information in connection with our website and your home mortgage, including your online mortgage. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect from you and third parties both online and offline, but does not apply to any personal information collected from you by third parties.

NewCastle Home Loans does not disclose any non-public personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone except as permitted by law. We will gather additional information as we process your home mortgage loan application, including your online application to make an informed decision about granting you credit. We collect personal information from the following sources: (1) your loan application and other forms, including an online mortgage; (2) verifications; (3) previous transactions with us; and (4) consumer reporting agencies. Email is an important communication channel but not considered a secure channel for transmitting confidential information.  We do not send sensitive information using email and encourage our customers to follow the same practice. When you provide your email address, we will use it to send you general notices or important news about your account, request your feedback or opinions and provide updates on special deals and offers that might interest you. We believe you should be able to choose what kind of information you receive via email. If you do not want to receive marketing materials by email, just indicate your preference on the contact details for your account or the ‘opt-out’ link provided in our marketing emails.

The law regarding disclosure of your information

This notice describes our Privacy Policy effective as of the date indicated above. NewCastle Home Loans reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently.  If at any time in the future we revise this Privacy Policy to allow additional disclosure of non-public private information to non-affiliated companies, as permitted by law, we will provide notice of such change to you before implementation of the new policy.  We will provide notice of other changes by indicating on the Privacy Policy the date it was last updated and making such updated Privacy Policy available on the website.
