Account Executive



NewCastle Home Loans is hiring an Account Executive. As an AE you’ll manage a pipeline of mortgage applications for a few loan officers. Your highest priorities are to close loans on-time and delight customers. This is the perfect career opportunity for a seasoned mortgage professional who’s a winner - accountable, hard-working, problem-solver who closes loans. You could earn $295,000.

About the pipeline: NewCastle is a retail mortgage banker. Our origination process includes making loan decisions, closing, and funding 1st mortgages. Our loans are 60% conforming, 30% government, 10% conventional non-conforming, 75% purchases. The average credit score is over 700.

You must be organized. Manage up to 50-loans per month. Open, submit to processing, track through underwriting, confirm final numbers with borrowers, and issue mortgage commitments. Meet deadlines as loans move through the process, including contingencies, closing dates, and rate-locks.

Your communication skills must be excellent since you’ll be the primary contact for customers, processors, and underwriters. Talking on the phone and writing effective emails and text messages are essential skills for your success. You must be fluent with the LOS, CRM, and G Suite.

You must be a seasoned mortgage professional. Update customers, processors, and underwriters, and answer their questions. Identify issues, discuss solutions, and resolve problems permanently. Rework loans!

Start immediately. Work at least 8-hours per day, longer if that’s what it takes to make money. Work from our office in Bucktown.

How Much? $55,000 base pay up to $240,000 in commission.
